Mr Kunio Namekata, a partner of TMI Associates, visited the firm on 1st December 2014. Asian Legal Business (November 2014 edition) ranks TMI Associates with 384 fee earners as the 2nd largest Japan's domestic firm.

Guangxi lawyers on exchange program

C W Loh & Associates signed a memorandum of cooperation with Guangxi Autonomous Region Lawyers Association in December 2013 provide professional development training in order to better serve the growing legal demand of China Asean Free Trade Area. Malaysia and Guangxi have formed a very close tie in recent years with the establishment of industrial parks in Kuantan and Qinzhou respectively. Six Guangxi lawyers came to Kuala Lumpur in October 2014 for a two weeks training in the various fields of law. The visiting lawyers benefited from visits to the Palace of Justice, Court Complex at Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration, Economic Consular of Chinese Embassy in Malaysia as well as Malaysia China Chamber of Commerce. The training was completed on 24 October 2014 with a closing dinner.

广西律师协会与马来西亚罗章武律师事务所签订青年律师培训协议

为了提高广西壮族自治区律师在东盟法律领域的服务能力，进一步加强广西律师与东盟主要国家之间在律师培训、业务协定、经验交流等方面的交流合作。广西律师协会会长黄志文、秘书长黄都恒、副会长凌斌、欣和律师事务所合伙人申辉辉、广西律师协会秘书处卢德庆、曾文海一行六人，于2013年12月1日至6日对马来西亚律师公会、吉隆坡律师公会等访问。

律师到马来西亚交流学习相关事宜。经过座谈协商，广西律师协会同李瑞生律师事务所、陈行昌律师事务所、罗章武律师事务所签订了广西青年律师赴马来西亚交流学习合作协议。协议对两地合作的组织领导及协调、赴马来西亚学习的律师人数、学习时间、费用安排及学习期间的待遇等问题进行了约定。
